Our Skill Builder Module has proven effective in improving the reading skills of students who have fallen behind their peers in word identification ability. The Skill Builder Module provides practice on words that are sorted into grade levels. Practice consists of rapid naming of sets of words and the Skill Builder program then plots the results of a practice session in terms of the speed and accuracy with which a student named the words. After one set of words is mastered to automaticity, the program presents the student with another set of words, and practice continues. Our reading software is designed to develop fluent readers. Students who use our Skill Builder Module become faster and more accurate at recognizing words. Our Intervention Sets are designed to build fluent readers in ages ranging from grade 1 to grade 8, and older students can increase their fluency in reading science and social studies materials by using our subject matter Intervention Sets. We have recently released our new Skill Builder Designer Module for our Educator Version. With it you can run the Intervention Sets in addition to creating your own word lists. This module is particularly useful for older students, students with particular problems in a specific content area, as well as those students who do not speak English or English is their second language. What follows is our current list of developed Intervention Sets.
